Bible Truth Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, family-friendly church committed to preaching God’s Word with passion and truth. We offer a welcoming environment for all ages to grow spiritually through biblical teaching, traditional worship, and fellowship.
Our Story
Bible Truth Baptist Church was founded in January 2024 by Pastor James Ward, who felt called by God to plant a church in the Ruckersville, VA area. After years of serving in various ministries, including bus ministry, youth, and music, Pastor James and his family knew God was leading them to establish a church where sound biblical preaching would be at the forefront. With a passion for reaching souls and building up families in Christ, Pastor James and his wife, Chastity, along with their two children, Maggie and Molly, began this journey to serve their community.
From its humble beginnings, Bible Truth Baptist Church has grown into a place where families, young adults, and individuals can come together to grow in their faith. We are committed to preaching the King James Bible, providing a warm and welcoming environment, and offering opportunities for fellowship, service, and spiritual growth. We are excited to continue impacting lives in Ruckersville and beyond, as we build a church that remains faithful to God’s Word and His mission.
